Dadhi was eager to see her again. He asked if he could come over to wait. I Not knowing what they had arranged, I said no. Maybe she wanted time to relax and freshen up first? That did not stop him from informing me he was in his car, near my house, just at 12pm. LOL. I believe there was some miscommunication too.
I invited him in but had work to do. After about 40 minutes I asked him what was going on. He said she text him at 12:09pm, stating she had been pulled over by police. Ok speed-racer, that's not shocking at this point. Way soon to worry but too late to not start thinking of "what the heck happened"?
At 1:30pm, I decided we would message her a few more times, try Facebook and call the state police. A beautiful woman traveling alone and not arriving is a pretty big deal in my book! 1.5 hours is far longer than a traffic stop! Did anyone know she was traveling? What if an ax murderer found her? What else could be done, I couldn't just pretend not to know!
The FB post to her page went ignored for 30 minutes. Her friend and hairstylist finally reported hearing from her at 1:45pm. It was now well after 2pm. Okay, she survived the traffic stop! Wave of relief! Quickly followed by total freaking confusion!
In the worst possible way, SHE GHOSTED HIM!!! Why didn't she come? We have no idea! She never replied to either of us again! She was active on FB until I was blocked from seeing her status. WHAT?! I'm certainly not upset or angry, just wish I knew what changed. I coordinated, hosted and spent dozens of hours making this happen & took gorgeous photos, my role was over. I have not received any replies from two numbers or Facebook since the day of the session!
All in all, the purpose of the session was to have fun and to create art. There were absolutely no expectations for Nicole or Dadhi to participate beyond that. That was achieved. They were both fantastic to work with. Nicole is not a professional model and this can be hard work! If anyone thinks models just pose and look pretty, you are wrong. They work their butts off! Epic sessions like this are a lot of physical work. Creative work, for fun, but exhausting. I just wish I knew why she ghosted him and chose to forfeit these gorgeous photos. Lots of solo shots not posted. If she wants them, she has to speak or type. Lol. I was not paid for this event, I did it for fun after seeing Nicole post about another photographer who did it, stating she would love someone to do that for her. Dadhi is shy and hasn't had much luck meeting authentic girls.
Luckily, Dadhi got over her really quick! He waited 3 hours! Whatever he felt was insta-GONE after being lied to and ghosted. They had been texting afterwards and that morning. The only issue I have is going no-contact after stating she was pulled over. We were very concerned for her safety, enough so to call the state police. She was given the opportunity to say something on this blog, but did not reply.
People, I need to help Dadhi find a date! He is super-nice, lots of fun, adventurous and hot! He's 30 years old & moved here from Nepal 10 years ago, and is a permanent US resident. When he isn't making videos or working with me, he works as a Direct Support Person. Who wants to go on a date?
What do you think happened??? I want to hear it! Do you or someone you know want to go on a date with Dadhi? Contact me! "There are no good men left out there."-Every girl at some point. Here's a good one!
As for what may have happened, I think she may have started the trip or intended to, got anxious or tired, decided not to come but was too cowardly to just say so! But hey, what do I know? Clearly, not much. Nobody's talking!
UPDATE: Eventually I heard from Nicole. She said she did not enjoy the event, but was still on her way for the date, but changed her mind along the way.
